BOOZE
алкогольный напиток, спиртное. С booz'ом в Америке вольготно, что неоднократно нами проверено и всегда радует (см. цв. илл. (Booze — спиртное. Хватает всякого. Российский вклад в американскую виноторговлю реально ощутим в отделе крепких напитков.)). Напитков там на порядок больше, чем у нас (даже при нынешнем их нашем изобилии), причем из всех стран, включая Россию.
Особенно любят выпить на Аляске. Рыбы свежей там не купишь, а вот винно-водочных магазинов - не меряно. Местные удивлялись на наше удивление: а что еще-то делать зимой? Не книжки же читать! "Что Сибирь, что Аляска - два берега..." (см. рис. (Вино-водочная точка в Хили, Аляска) к словам LEEKY STORE).
Учитывая характер нашей книги, не можем удержаться от того чтобы не поделиться с читателем результатами социологического опроса, проведенного не так давно в Канаде. Пытливые канадские ученые попытались ранжировать все провинции этой необъятной страны по половой активности населения. На последнем месте оказалась Британская Колумбия БК). На первом - Ньюфаундленд. Обсуждалось это потом всей Канадой, во всех крупных газетах, с интервью на улицах (типа: "Так что ж вы меня за идиота принимаете, раз я из Ньюфаундленда в БК переехал?"). Сошлись на том, что, понятное дело, в БК много чем можно заниматься, даже чересчур, а вот что еще делать на Ньюфаундленде в полярную ночь?
